What differentiates the program is that it brings together the private sector, the public authority and the organized civil society around a common goal: to build and implement an integrated and sustainable territorial development strategy.

Financed by MRN, the Sustainable Territory Program today operates in the municipalities of Oriximiná, Terra Santa and Faro, in a partnership with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and the United States Agency for International Development (Usaid).

"The Program strengthens and qualifies, at the same time, several sectors in the society, so that full management of the territory is implemented, both in the governmental sphere and with the local population. Therefore, the entire society in this territory is expected to enjoy a perennial increase in the quality of life.”
Vladimir Moreira, Sustainability Director - MRN.
