In 2019, resources provided by MRN to the FIA assisted 2,370 children and adolescents in Oriximiná, 730 in Óbidos and 852 in Faro.

The fund is intended for standardizing, implementing and enforcing policies to secure the rights of children and adolescents. Thus, the FIA is fundamental to reduce the existing contrasts between social classes, thus helping promote equal opportunities.

The amount raised by the Fund complements the budgetary resources that legally should be directed primarily to serving children and adolescents.

The extra funds allow for the expansion of programs, services and goals and for promoting the improvement of the existing service structure.
